The OmniHand 3 Lite-S from AGILINK, a company of the AGIBOT group, is a compact robotic hand for smaller humanoid robots. It weighs no more than 350 grams, opens and closes in half a second and moves eleven joints with four actuators.

This lets it master expressive gestures for entertainment, performances and encounters with people, and take on simple tasks such as carrying trays, grasping cups or handing over objects.

Compact
140 × 71 × 32.5 mm – fits the slim wrists of small humanoid robots and is quick to mount.
Lightweight
No more than 350 g. Less weight on the arm means smoother movement, lower energy consumption and less load.
Fast
Opens and closes in 0.5 seconds – gestures keep pace with the movements of the body.
Expressive gestures
Four active degrees of freedom drive eleven joints: thumbs up, fist, high five, OK, pointing and heart.
Rugged
Aerospace-grade alloy frame. According to the manufacturer, five drops from 1 m onto each of its six sides without loss of function (GB/T 2423.7–2018).
Safe interaction
Full-hand silicone cover, individually replaceable – pleasant for handshakes, fist bumps and handovers.

Which robots is the OmniHand 3 Lite-S designed for?

For smaller humanoid robots of around 0.8 to 1.3 m in height, whose wrists offer limited space and payload.

Is there a version with tactile sensing?

Yes. It is optionally available with sensors in all five fingertips and the palm – for contact feedback and data collection. Both versions are available as a left hand, right hand or pair.

How is the hand controlled?

Via CAN FD or RS485. The SDK, control interface and low-level protocol are open.
